Memorable shoots!!
Gerhard & Natasha: A celebration of Love at St. George's Hotel
We had the privilage of capturing this beautiful couple's big day on Saturday. They are such a nice couple and a match made in heaven!! Andrea and myself had loads of fun and I am very excited to share some of my absolute favourites....

Andrea and I have a very special relationship and among everything that we have in common we share the same passion for photography. She is a wonderful assistant and stylist and we make a mean team :) On the 7th of July 2010 she fell from stairs and was in a medically induced coma for 14 days...it is an absolute miracle that she made a 100% recovery and for this I will be greatful to our heavenly father for the rest of my life!! Andrea is a natural and must have been a model in her previous life because she makes it look so easy... LOL!! It is with pride that I share these hot photographs with you...

I photographed Milla in 2008 and this time around I met her adorable little sister, Lua...two cute little princesses!! This is such a beautiful family and when you are with them one can feel the love. Here is a few of my personal favourites:
A celebration of a new Life & Miracle: Janine's Pregnancy shoot
My Friend Janine is 7 weeks away from giving birth to a little boy, Jayden... we are so excited and we are already making plans to capture his newborn innocence! Here is just a few of my favourites from the preggy-shoot and I will be putting up newborn pics of him in 8-9 weeks time, so keep a look out!
This was a beautiful wedding, best described in one word...WoW!! This is such great couple... and so in love with each other and with life! Andrea and myself had a fun time capturing their precious moments. Here is a sneak peek:
Millan & Ash - 18 December 2010 - A beautiful beginning at Mangwa Valley
I have the greatest respect for Ashleigh because she arranged the entire wedding whilst living in London and and it turned out to be PICTURE PERFECT! These two funloving people has been together for 10 years and you can tell by looking at them that they are soulmates in every sense of the word. Mangwa Valley is one of those hidden treasures and here is a glimps of this beautiful love story...

After having this fun shoot at Irene farm I am so excited to capture this beautiful couple's wedding day on the 26 March at St. Georges Hotel. They were willing to ly on wet grass and climb over fences- all in the name of the perfect shot :) and with this type of enthusiasm I am sure that the wedding pics will be 'to die for' ... It was hard to choose my favourites but these two pics stood out - enjoy!
Johan & Lizelle’s Wedding: A Perfect day, which played out like a fairytale!!
On the 29th of May it was finally my turn to be captured on
the most beautiful day of my entire life…
I had numerous requests from my clients ( former brides) to place these memories on
my blog as they wanted to see how I look like on the other side of the lens…
I am also asked how I experienced our wedding day and I think that most married people
Will agree with me when I say “it was like being in a dream”!!
The emotions that one feel on your wedding day are intense feelings of Love, Happiness, Content, Gratitude & Peace.
Two moments (both beautifully captured) that will be imprinted in my memory for the rest of my life was when me and my dad approached he chapel and Rike, the musician was playing “the power of love” on her Sax. I remember seeing Andrea, my sister and little Cypriss walking down the ilse and all of a sudden the guests spotted me through the trees and started turning around. The wind blew my veil and I was hanging onto my dad’s arm when it suddenly hit me…”this was it, I was getting married!”
I then proceeded down the isle, winking at some of my dear friends and family and then I saw Johan…my heart skipped 10 beats and I realized that I love him with all of my heart and that “we are forever”.
Lots of priceless moments followed, like when I forced his wedding band into the wrong finger ( his right hand ring finger) refusing to listen to the first 3 whispers “wrong finger” and then as I realized I had made a mistake, I attempted to explain my mistake by saying ”It’s not my fault, he wears his watch on the wrong hand!!”…LAUGHTER!!
Lots of wonderful moments followed as our wedding day turned out to be just PERFECT but I won’t bore you with the detail, I’d rather share some of my favorite pics…. Taken by our photographer and dear friend, Sarel van Staden.
My first kiss as Mev. Lizelle Stoltz...
Our rings are VERY special to us and this special Bible verse is engraved inside of our rings. I designed Johan's ring and the black strip is a real Elephant hair!
( my eyes reflected my happiness in my favourite colour Blue...it wasn't edited!!!)
